Atari Centipede
Atari Centipede is a classic fixed shooter arcade game where players must defend against an onslaught of bugs like centipedes, spiders, scorpions, and fleas using a bugblaster. The goal is to survive for as long as possible in this thrilling game. The bugblaster shoots small darts at the segmented centipede, which typically comprises of 10 to 12 body parts, including the head. Each segment of the centipede transforms into a mushroom when hit, with each piece moving independently towards the player. To defeat the centipede, players must target and shoot its head. To navigate the bugblaster and fire at the centipede, players can use either the keyboard or mouse controls, adding to the interactive experience of the game.
