Progressing through each level earns you precious gems that can be utilized to procure newer and more potent ships (a total of 6) or upgrade existing ones. To successfully conquer all 40 levels and vanquish the bosses appearing every 5th level, strategic ship upgrades and judicious use of power-ups are essential.
